World’s largest identity for Scandinavia´s largest city festival
The Concept

Snask wanted the Malmo Festival to be able to celebrate in style. Therefore they created the largest physical graphic identity the world had every seen: a gigantic physical art installation.

Illustrator was used to sketch the design and typography for initial concepts.
The Production

The team produced the masterpiece took 14 people over 900 hours to create. They finished post production in Photoshop and InDesign for printing.

The graphic identity was crafted first in C4D to see how far up the team would need to be in order to capture the image at the correct angles.
To produce the masterpiece, the team used 10,000 nails, 175 liters of paint, and 280 sheets of plywood.
To capture the 13x8 meter art piece, the team had to be 30 meters up in the air.
The final product was sent to print using Photoshop and InDesign.

The installation was interaction-friendly so visitors could jump, climb or lay on it. It is one of the largest physical graphic identities measuring 13x8 meters.

On a rare occasion, the typography posed a challenge for little ones.
