The project is an effort to explore new ways to use technologies and different fields without many of the common commercial limitations. The performance choreography stresses the desire to be expressive without bounds.
The team captured about 30 minutes of Tanaka’s dancing and cut it down into a three-minute film. It took nearly six weeks to complete, and the bulk of that time was spent waiting for five computers to render all 5,000 frames.
The final piece brings the collaborative effort and experimental film to life expressing creativity without bounds.
