Referenced images were taken from the opening scene for Futurama -- which used some 3D assets, but they were flat-shaded to integrate with the show’s 2D look.
The artist was in non-stop production when it came to all elements including architecture, city structures, vehicles, characters, animation advertising, hi-detailed shuttle, etc. It took him around 4-5 months to complete.
The artist transformed the cartoon into a complete stunner. The final result had a great amount of detail and really took the Futurama world to a whole new level.
