The project was based off a physical camera that he had in hand. Because of that, he was able to take photos of the reference object and understand how the materials reacted to light as well as create a nice composition for the final shot.

During production, Paulino used Maya for modeling and UV's. MARI and Photoshop for texturing and Vray for rendering. He also created an HDR for the scene. This allowed him to get a realistic lighting environment for the shot.
Although it was challenging to mimic a real object, Paulino was able to learn a lot and build his skill set.
